Jenna Fischer was best known for her role as Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on television. The role she played brought her an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress category and she also won two SAG Awards, both for extraordinary performances on an ensemble comedy.
Anne, her mother, was a performer in church theater while she was a kid and instilled a passion for theater and performances in Jenna. Jenna was impressed by her mother's worship services at the time she started her journey.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, who is a trained actress in the theater, went back to her roots. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy. It was titled Office Ladies. The show is now extremely well-known and is now in the Top Ten every single week. Its debut year, the show received more than 200,000,000 downloads. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends The Office. This memoir is about their friendship and the work they did on The Office.
