Actor Katherine Heigl is opening her mind about being raised in an environment that was a "white bubble" and how this realisation has impacted how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl admitted that she didn't care about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. "I asked my sister, Meg to tell me if she'd been treated in one manner when she was walking around with our parents and in a different manner in the time she was by herself without them. She responded "Oh yes! All the all the time!" Heigl talked to parents about when she realized the naivety of her actions. She confessed that she was angry however she was also aware of it was necessary to use her anger to assist her daughters. Heigl, who has been engaged to Josh Kelley for 13 years and has a son named Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year-old girl who was adopted by the couple in 2012.
