As I was a mom with one child with me, and other babies within the cradle worked 12 hours a day grinding floors and cutting off wallpaper. Ha! Markets in town had room for me to market my items. In the end, I accumulated more items that I could decide about and outgrew the space. My home became a place that I hosted open houses, where up to 1000 visitors could see the items on my first floor before purchasing these items. Growing Days is the result from this. As my business flourished as did our family. In a way, I found the ideal way to balance being a mom as well as starting my own venture. Growing Days just fit. Nora joined us in 2013 as our 4th baby. While I was pleased with the direction that my business was taking, I realized that I had to take a little break. I took some time away from furniture that was vintage to enjoy the time I needed with my children. In the beginning, this was what I wanted. After a few months when the phones began to call.
